Floyd Mayweather vs The Fabulous Four

It has been over a month since Floyd Mayweather had a great performance against Manny Pacquiao. The general consensus amongst boxing fans was 117-111, in a favour of Mayweather. Floyd showed a high boxing IQ, and amazing ring generalship to get the win. After the fight, there have been discussions online, and in the general boxing community, of where Mayweather stands in the all-time pound-for-pound rankings.

A Marvelous Anniversary

Thirty years ago today Marvelous Marvin Hagler defended his Undisputed Middleweight Championship against Thomas ‘The Hitman’ Hearns. The match up was dubbed The Fight, and there has never been a more appropriate title given to a boxing match during the promotional stage.

Everything has pretty much been written about this fight over the years. Spectators who viewed it live will never forget it. Spectators who viewed it at the Out Door Arena in Caesar’s Palace have even greater stories to tell about this savage battle.

Bernstein Reflects on Hagler-Hearns 30th Anniversary

On April 15, 1985, when Marvelous Marvin Hagler battled Tommy Hearns in their epic match, Al Bernstein was there to announce the fight. Thirty years later, on May 2, 2015, Al Bernstein will, again be ringside to announce the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquaio mega fight. In between those two great events Al has fashioned an announcing career that earned him a long list of accolades and landed him in The International Boxing Hall of Fame.
