Ronnie ‘The Shark’ Clark is expecting a war when he locks horns with Troy James in a British Super Featherweight Title Eliminator this weekend.

The explosive pair go toe-to-toe at Bedworth Civic Hall on Saturday (27th September) with the former WKA world lightweight kick boxing champion predicting fireworks.

“I’m expecting a proper rumble,” he told www.uko-boxing.com. “We both have a similar style. We both like to come forward so I think it will be a war.

“I can’t see it going the distance. I guess someone will get knocked out!

After a controversial loss to current British Champion Kevin Satchell, Jerviston’s Iain Butcher (8-1) returns to action on October 11th at Ravenscraig Sports Centre and looks to bounce back by capturing the vacant WBO European Title, as he takes on tough Hungarian Gabor Molnar (13-3).

Hoping for his fighter to comes through, Promoter Paul Graham expects a tough nights work for Butcher “Gabor comes in with 13 wins, and nine of those are by knock down, so it is something that we have to be aware of. Ronnie Clark relieved to be back in action and looking to Bite Again on October 11th

After nearly 3 months out with a hand injury, Dundee’s Ronnie Clark (8-0-2) returned to the ring on Tuesday 24th September with a convincing fifth round knock down of Poland’s Krzysztof Rogowski.

Looking to keep the momentum going, his promoter and manager Tommy Gilmour has added the former World Champion Kick boxer to Prospect Boxing’s October 11th Card, which is headlined by Iain Butcher who will be challenging for the vacant WBO European Title against Hungarian Gabor Molnar.

After his period out, the Super Featherweight was glad to be back in action, after his time “The hand was a bit of a problem for a while and I was seeing a hand specialist while I was out and he worked hard on getting it mended and was given the all clear. I was a bit worried about it going into the fight natural, but it felt great during and has continued too since”
