Summers Ready For Scorcher

West Bromwich super featherweight, Jack Summers, knows one swallow doesn’t make a summer but he’s pleased with the start he’s made to life as a professional boxer.

The 21 year-old, with the perfect name to appear on Black Country Boxing’s ‘Summer Scorcher’ on Saturday,  9th July has recorded back-to-back wins since turning pro last year.

He steps in with well-travelled and dangerous Brett Fidoe at Walsall Town Hall aiming to make it a hat-trick of victories.

“I’ve been out of the ring longer than I wanted to be but I’m ready for Saturday now,” he told www.uko-boxing.com. “I last fought in October so I’ve had an intense camp for this one.

“Training has gone really well. I’ve never felt better; I’m stronger than ever, faster than ever and mentally and physically ready

“Brett is very experienced and comes to fight. I’ve prepared myself for a war because that’s what I’m expecting.

“I’m looking forward to fighting at the Town Hall. It’s where I’ve had my last two fights and I’m ready to make it a hat-trick of wins on Saturday.”
