REGIS PROGRAIS

Former 140 pound world champion Regis Prograis said on Al Bernstein Unplugged he’s hoping to reach a wider audience with his April 17 fight on Triller Fight Club and then with a win wants to fight Adrien Broner.

Prograis, a former WBC champion, said he feels the Triller Fight Club appeals to a broader base of fans. “These shows are not switching or taking away fans, they are just adding to boxing’s base.” He also said, “Boxing is a lot about popularity these days, more than even who is the most skilled fighter. So, with this show I can get the popular vote and impress hard core boxing fans.” For more information on the April 17 card, go to www.trillerfightclub.com. Prograis also said he wants to fight former champion Adrien Broner. He claimed he would “beat Broner in every round of the fight.” He said it’s a logical fight to make.
