Dennis Ceylan to fight Emiliano Salvini in Kolding

Dennis Ceylan (7-0, 4 KOs) will face Emiliano Salvini at the Nordic Fight Night in Kolding on October 19. The Italian veteran (15-18-2, 2 KOs), a former European Title challenger, currently occupies the 12th spot in the EU ratings. Ceylan comes off a first-round destruction of countryman Tommi Schmidt. “I am ready for another win,” Ceylan said.

The Danish Olympian, who turned pro one year ago, is pleased with the way his career has been going. “I enjoy fighting professionally,” he said. “I had to learn a few things but I am very happy about my development. I have done a lot of strength training, so I have become much stronger, and I think I´ve adjusted well to the pro game. Now I just want to keep improving and keep winning.”

Ceylan, along with Team Sauerland stablemate Torben Keller, got a first taste of the atmosphere at TRE-FOR Arena last weekend when he attended KIF Kolding København´s Champions League victory over Porto Vitalis. “It was a great game and the crowd was very loud,” Ceylan said. “I hope the support will be the same when we fight on October 19.”

Meanwhile, Torben Keller (8-0, 2 KOs) will attend the Fleggaard Box Camp 2013 at Felsted Bokseklub on Saturday. More than 100 children, aged between 9-17, will be training with 30 voluntary coaches. One of them will be Keller. “I am really looking forward to meeting all the young fighters,” Keller said. “Hopefully I will be able to inspire them and show them some new things. I am very happy to participate in the camp.”
