Bruun’s coach: Kasper must not lose to a guy like Yigit

Kasper Bruun (19-0-1, 4 KOs) and Anthony Yigit (9-0-1, 3 KOs) collide on April 12th in Esbjerg for the WBC Baltic Light Welterweight Title.

“It’s an exciting fight. A fight that can bring Kasper towards a long-term professional contract. We can’t use a defeat. A win is the only thing that counts and Kasper must not lose to a guy like Yigit,” says Soren Larsen, Bruun’s coach and uncle.

Larsen believes that Bruun’s experience will be crucial in the 10 round Denmark vs. Sweden contest.

“Kasper is more experienced. Yigit has never had to fight more than six rounds, Kasper has.Yigit showed some signs of weakness in his last fight in Albertslund, and trust me he will be facing even bigger problems against Kasper.”

Soren Larsen expects that most of the spectators inside the Blue Water Dokken will be there to support his fighter and there are already reports that several buses with Bruun fans will be travelling to the West Jutland capital.

“We agreed to this fight, so Kasper can get more fights and because we believe that Kasper will win,” says Larsen.
