Lee Glover and Lennox Clarke visited Walsall Town Hall and the Pitch Sports Bar & Grill ahead of their respective fights.
The Black Country boxers are in action on Saturday, 29th November.
English super featherweight title challenger, Lee Glover, tops the bill as he takes on Plymouth prospect, Chris Adaway, for a British Bronze Masters Featherweight Title.
Glover, who has been sparring WBA super bantamweight title holder Scott Quigg, in the build-up to the fight will be looking to add to the British Masters Super Featherweight Title he picked up in July.
Adaway on the other hand will be looking to make an instant impact n the professional ranks after turning professional recently. The Plymouth pugilist enjoyed a stellar amateur career, which saw him box for England.
“I’m feeling fit and strong,” Glover told www.uko-boxing.com. “I don’t know too much about Adaway but there’s no-one who I fear, especially at 9 stone. I’ve took a lot of confidence from sparring a world-level operator in Scott Quigg and I’ll be putting on a show on the 29th.
“I love boxing at Walsall Town Hall. It’s a home from home for me.”
Halesowen super middleweight prospect, Lennox Clarke, is chief support as he looks to build on his 14-second stoppage of Raimonds Sniedze last month when he takes on Welshman, Jamie Ambler. This will be Clarke’s six fight since turning professional and he’s ready to build on his sensational start.
“Things have gone well for me,” Clarke admitted. “I’m enjoying life as a professional boxer and, after stopping my last three opponents, am getting more and more confident. Ambler is an awkward fighter but one I know I can get the better of.”
Four other fights make up the card, which takes place on the same night as Bad Blood: Chisora versus Fury/Saunders versus Eubank Jr.
Coventry cruiserweight, Joe Sheriff, takes on Lincoln’s Mitch Mitchell whilst Tewkesbury light middleweight prospect, Adam Harper, faces Manchester veteran, Dee Mitchell.
Birmingham super featherweight, Sean ‘Showtime’ Davis will be looking to extend his unbeaten start to life in the paid ranks when he faces Northern Ireland’s Ben Mulligan and fellow super featherweight, Dudley’s Ryan Corrigan completes the bill against Sheffield’s Qassim Hussain. Coventry’s Troy James no longer features after picking up a back injury in training.
The boxing will finish in time for boxing fans to make their way to The Pitch Sports Bar and Grill on Bridge Street, Walsall, where the Bad Blood: Chisora versus Fury/Saunders versus Eubank Jr will be shown live on Giant Screens. Fight fans will be able to gain free entry into Walsall premier night spot on production of their boxing ticket.
“It’s a great night of boxing,” Glover added. “Our show will be a cracker. There’s six really competitive fights on. Then we’re all heading over to The Pitch to see how Chisora and Saunders get on against Fury and Eubank Junior. Live, local boxing followed by the biggest fight card this side of Christmas. Perfect!”
