Gray To Put Friendship To One Side

Kieron Gray insists he will put friendship to one side when he goes toe-to-toe with Grant Cunningham for a British Bronze Masters Super Middleweight Title.

The experienced Telford scrapper, who usually clocks up the miles as one of boxing’s most respected journeymen, will swap the hard yards for a title tilt when he meets undefeated Cunningham on EJKO Promotions’ ‘The Chase’ at Chase Leisure Centre, Cannock, this coming Saturday, 4th October.

Gray and Cunningham go way back. The pair first met in the amateurs and, working under the same manager (Errol Johnson), have built up a solid friendship over the years.

Although they will share a drink post fight, between the ropes at least, Gray insists friendship will go out of the window as the pair do battle for a Masters Title.

The Chase: Taking Shape
